The Shot Hit

I recorded a song tonight. For some reason it's a father singing to his young daughter about her mother leaving them. Don't ask me. I don't get it either. Go here and listen to "Cradle".

agree with the lyrics comment. i think you could cut the last chorus too. but i really like the seventh beatlesy chords, and the beat. sometimes the trumpets. and when you strike things on the 1-2-3-4 instead of the shuffle every once in a while. i think in this song the verse is much more interesting than the chorus. and i think you really have to be careful about getting away from the beat. but on the whole i like the song.

Yea I don't like the lyrics either. I just wanted a vocal melody and couldn't decide what to do last night so I wrote em quick. They're actually not trumpets they're saxophones and I yea I don't like the chorus either.
